The upcoming flagship by Samsung name Galaxy S8 was expected to launch on 26th of February 2017 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event, and it was confirmed in Barcelona, Spain. These days rumors are predicting that Galaxy S8 will probably take two months and ultimately release on 21st of April in New York, US. However, we will talk about the developing story about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature two different processors.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Will Feature Two Different Processors
The Galaxy S8 is going to be powered Samsung’s chipset, Exynos 8895 as the new leak is suggesting. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be the successor of successful and highly loved Galaxy S7. Now the Galaxy S8 has to rescue the South Korean tech giant and get them relief from the tainted Galaxy Note 7. So, if we keep it mind, then there is a lot to expect from the upcoming flagship.
So, a new leak suggests that Samsung will follow its traditions by featuring two different processors in upcoming Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge.
The two processors will be Exynos 8895 and Qualcomm Snap Dragon 835. Samsung itself will make the Exynos processors. However, it will be available for European and Asian countries and others, but for US devices, Samsung will feature Qualcomm Snap Dragon 835.
Samsung skipped featuring two processors in 2015 when it found out that there are some overheating issues in Qualcomm Snap Dragon 810, but in 2016 they came with Exynos 8890 and Qualcomm Snap Dragon 820.
So, in 2017 they will opt the same strategy and as we mentioned above that the release date is delay till April. Initially, we did not know that reason, but later on, we found out that according to the report, Samsung is facing release delay because of shortage in Snap Dragon 835 processor.
