So, the reports are suggesting that the suppliers had been received the production order earlier this month. The first batch of components is expecting to arrive next month in February and mass production will kick start in the month of March 2017.
Moreover, it was a tradition for Samsung when they launch their Galaxy S-series flagship in the month of March at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event. However, the Galaxy S8 release event is expected in April 2017 now. The whole situation is dictating that Samsung wants some more time to make things perfect to restore and retrieve the customers’ trust.
We are sure about the basic model names, and it will be called Galaxy S8 but we cannot ensure you about the premium model, it could be Galaxy S8 Edge as always, or it could be called Galaxy S8 Plus as the earlier rumors suggested. Both of these smartphones are the successor of successful Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
People have high hopes from Samsung that they will deliver in Galaxy S8 and do not delay the release now, as it is already extended two months ahead, previously it was expected on 26th of February 2017.
