As we all know, traditionally, Samsung launches its flagships during the MWC – Mobile World Congress event. However, things are quite different this time from Samsung because of the tainted Galaxy Note 7. The unveiling ceremony of Galaxy S8 was expected on 26th of February or during the MWC event. However, the MWC event is still confirmed to take place in Spain, Barcelona from 27th of February to 2nd of March 2017 but the Galaxy S8 release delayed until April. The new reports appear on the Naver that Samsung will now arrange an event in New York, US. Moreover, we have a specific date too for the very first time after the news of release delay a few days back. So, the Samsung Galaxy S8 release schedule on 21st of April.

But before that Samsung conducts Galaxy S8 unveiling event at the end of March or in the first of April. Then the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge will go on sale from 21st of April. The news came last week that Samsung is delaying the release due to the shortage of Qualcomm Snap Dragon 835. Some sites were claiming that Samsung is extra cautious because of Galaxy Note 7 fiasco and they want to rebuild and restore the trust of the customers.
Now if we talk about the Galaxy S8 variants, then there will be two models. First one will be the primary model Galaxy S8, and the premium model will be Galaxy S8 Edge. We are not sure about the display sizes of these models because the rumors lack consensus among them. One of the rumored lack consensus that the both models either have dual-edge curved or just the premium model will feature it.
