The awaited Samsung Galaxy S8 is going to be announced on 26th of February 2017, ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) event which will be held from 27th of February to 2nd of March. Both the events will take place at the same venue in mobiles world capital Barcelona, Spain. The next generation smartphone will be available in the market from March.

Samsung will be the highlight of MWC event. Samsung traditionally launches their Galaxy S-series variants during the MWC event. They released the predecessor Galaxy S7 during this event.

Earlier rumor was suggesting that Samsung may launch sooner than the expectations of the people, but it is still earlier because Samsung usually launches their Galaxy S-series handsets in the month of March and April.
