Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) recently announced the Bluetooth 5.0. The range of Bluetooth 5.0 will be four times better; speed will be two times better and broadcast message capacity will be eight times better than the predecessor Bluetooth 4.2. It also promises to improved wireless technologies and interoperability which use and exchange information.
So, Samsung Galaxy S8 will be the first smartphone that would adopt the new Bluetooth 5.0. There is also new rumors and news about Galaxy S8. Let’s look at them.
It is expected that Samsung may introduce significant changes in hardware over the Galaxy S7. It will also feature full-screen display (curved at the top and the bottom) according to a report. It will also be the first phone ever to sport optical fingerprint recognition technology.
It was earlier expected that Samsung Galaxy S8 might opt Qualcomm Snap Dragon 830 processor. It was not taken seriously as Samsung Galaxy S7 has Qualcomm Snap Dragon 821. However, the rumor predicting Snap Dragon 835 in Galaxy S8 now. The processor will only be available in the US only, and the smartphones selling outside the US will have Exynos 9 series system on a chip.
The storage options in the predecessors are 32 GB and 64 GB. The new rumor is suggesting that Samsung Galaxy S8 may feature 256 GB space option. It sounds a bit unrealistic and unnecessary because Micro SD card slot can support 200 GB itself.
