Samsung Galaxy S8 Foldable Body – Could This Be The First Foldable Phone?


Samsung Company could be planning to launch the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge besides their Galaxy S8 Foldable Body Android mobile phone which would be introduced at some point in 2017 together with other models.

(Update 1: 17 February 2017) Samsung will release a foldable smartphone during the MWC event. However, the Galaxy S8 release date is delayed now. It will be on sale from 21st of April.

Galaxy S8 Foldable Body: Thoughts And Rumors

There have been numerous thoughts and rumors coming from the Chinese social networking website Weibo. Among them is that Samsung could be introducing various models next year which would consist of the Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S and the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

Of course, Samsung has not validated any of the reports and rumor. Many leaks do end up coming true as in some cases it could be the company itself that are spreading out the speculations.
It has just been a few months since the Samsung Galaxy S7, and S7 Edge has been released to the public. The phones did fair well, but the total mobile phone shipments internationally are still down compared with other years.
The Samsung Galaxy X is also an intriguing phone. It would be the South Korean tech giant’s first foldable smartphone.
In regards to specs, the new phone is also outstanding under the hood. It is reported to sport a 4K screen with a PenTile sub-pixel plan, as stated by Business Korea.


The  S8, S8 Edge and the Galaxy Note 7 will support a QHD Super AMOLED display with RGB sub-pixel plan. There have been no more specifications details exposed yet as of this work.
All the current mobile phones would most likely be introduced in specific locations initially, Nasdaq reported. They could be released in the South Korea, France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and Poland.

The introduction of the new phones might remain in the earlier part of next year. Delivery and present would be anticipated some months after.

Samsung fans would have to await the main announcement on the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Edge. Rates could be more or less the same range as the existing flagship phones readily available today.
