Earlier News about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 suggested that the South Korean tech giant may copy the iPhone 7 best feature. However, the latest rumors indicating that Galaxy S8 may not sport dual lens camera. Samsung will restrict itself from following the iPhone 7 Plus best feature and opt the conventional single lens rear camera in Galaxy S8.

They are not expecting only because of earlier rumors about the dual lens camera in Galaxy S8, but it is a feature which every Samsung user wants to see in it.


Despite the fact that, Apple is not the first to initiate with dual lens camera. Many other smartphone companies introduced it before Apple. People were accusing Samsung that they are copying the iPhone 7 Plus feature which is not true. However, it is true that this hot new feature took popularity after iPhone 8 Plus opted it.

According to an article published in BGR, a Weibo user who usually predicts accurately and famous for leaking the details about the unreleased smartphones. According to him, Samsung Galaxy S8 may not feature a dual lens camera and opt the single lens rear camera.

Samsung Phablet

Another hearsay is indicating that Samsung is preparing two models of Galaxy S8. Those two variants include a regular Galaxy S8 basic model and an interestingly a phablet size model. The name of the phablet model would be Galaxy S8 Edge or Galaxy S8 Plus.

A phablet has usually the intermediate size between a typical smartphone and tablet. The Galaxy S6 Edge model size is 5.1 inches. After this rumor, we can expect an increase in the size of the upcoming model. We can only assume that Samsung is targeting Galaxy Note 7 users by making a larger size of premium Galaxy S8.
