The Samsung Galaxy S8’s first reported problem concerns the display. Some units of Galaxy S8 are suffering from a red tint problem that Samsung is claiming that it is not an issue. The company will still do a software update to fix this issue. However, some of the users have complained two other problems that are probably a lot more annoying. According to a piece of news from BGR, some Galaxy S8 users are facing Wi-Fi and wireless charging Problems.
Some Galaxy S8 Users Are Facing Wi-Fi And Wireless Charging Problems
Samsung is already aware of the WiFi problem. They told The Wall Street Journal that coming software would fix it. The fix will take place in South Korea. Samsung identified a fault in that wireless access point of a local carrier. Samsung told The Journal that neither the WiFi nor the red tint issue is product defects.
The wireless charging defect seems to be a little more widespread, Samsung is yet to address it. Affected Samsung Galaxy S8 users took Samsung’s support forums to complain about not to charge wirelessly on their devices.
It is ambiguous at this moment that what causes the issues. It appears that the Galaxy S8 smartphones would not always work with old wireless charging hardware even though they should. As they all support the same standards of wireless charging, complete with support for fast charging.
We all know what happened with Galaxy Note 7 batteries, Samsung had to recalled it. Later announced that it is death. In our opinion, Samsung might be ensuring that nothing bad happens with the Galaxy S8 batteries by preventing them from using some wireless charging devices? And these hardware includes devices manufactured itself by Samsung. We are yet to find out. However, Samsung should fix this problem as soon as possible.
